Orange County Convention Center
Situated at the epicenter of one of America's favorite playgrounds, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando, FL, is a giant among giants, coming in as the third largest trade show facility in the country. With 2.1 million square feet of exhibit space, 70 meeting rooms, and 226 breakout rooms, the venue's footprint sprawls over a whopping 7.1 million square feet that is divided between the North-South Building and the West Building across the road. Arching glass, an airy rotunda, and a bisque-white facade make the campus visually stunning, while the palm trees lining the drive and the entertainment just down the road make it an irresistible convention destination.

The OCCC is a Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR venue.

The OCCC is a non-union facility. Anyone employed full time by an exhibiting company may install and dismantle an exhibit with certain limitations.

Exhibitors may hand-carry items to their booths. The use of dollies or flat trucks is prohibited.

All rigging and electrical work must be done by the OCCC's in-house labor.

CenterPlate is the OCCC's exclusive provider of food and beverage. Exhibitors may not bring in food, even for personal consumption.

SmartCity is the venue's exclusive provider of internet, telecommunications, and Wi-Fi, and all devices must use SmartCity's equipment.

All multilevel and/or covered exhibits greater than 300 square feet must have fire-watch personnel or sprinkler systems.

Unless otherwise directed, the OCCC's electricians are authorized to cut floor coverings to facilitate electrical service.

A free wayfinding app is available for download, featuring a building directory, step-by-step directions to key areas, and more.

WHERE TO SLEEP
The OCCC is surrounded by 125,000 guest rooms in Orange County, including more than 5,000 directly connected to the venue by six pedestrian bridges. The walkways link the convention center to the 800-room Rosen Plaza, Hilton Orlando, the 1,641-room Hyatt Regency, and the meeting-space-filled Rosen Centre hotels.

WHAT TO EAT
The eight food courts at the OCCC are your best bet for a quick lunch. For dinner, both serious foodies and casual diners are in for a treat because Orlando has plenty of options. Capital Grille, Oceanaire, Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar, and Del Frisco's are all popular restaurants within close proximity of the OCCC.
