Sizzle awards
 
Pablo Picasso, arguably one of the most innovative artists of the 20th century, once said, "Everything you can imagine is real." And while it's true that the things that exist only in the mind are very real – just ask a kid about the monster under his bed – the designers and exhibitors on the following pages weren't content to let their ideas remain there. This year's three Sizzle Award winners brought their ideas to life by making anime characters real, sending customers back in time to the Prohibition era, and bringing nature's majesty to the trade show floor, creating unforgettable experiences for event attendees.

This year's competition was open to trade show exhibit promotions launched between April 5, 2022, and April 19, 2023. Submissions were required to include measurable, numeric objectives and results. An independent panel of multidisciplinary marketing experts scored submissions based on each entry's goals and results, along with each project's level of creativity and innovation.
